The Alfa.lt article about us begins like this:
"Sheikh Mansur's battalion has been fighting for the freedom of Ukraine since the beginning of the war and is now participating in the offensive of the Ukrainian army. The Chechen volunteer unit is not a structural part of the Ukrainian army, which means that it must provide itself not only with weapons and ammunition, but literally everything - from food to underwear."
Chechen volunteers found reliable supporters in Lithuania, and their representative told the Alfa.lt portal that the soldiers were not surprised at all - they know that Lithuanians are Ukraine's most reliable supporters.
Alfa.lt also contacted Agne Jociuvienė, head of the support and charity foundation "United for Kindness", who spoke about the foundation's activities. Humanitarian aid shipments are constantly being collected, traveling not only to Chechen volunteers, but also to other parts of Ukraine. This month, the foundation sent as much as 6.5 tons of humanitarian aid in one week."
