The women continue to gradually knit woolen socks - some of them are already being transported to Ukrainian hospitals, the rest are being stored for autumn, when it will be cool in the trenches and the soldiers will need warmer clothing.
Besides, summer is already halfway through. The nights are cold in August. And autumn will be here soon.
What am I talking about here?
I have gathered many knitters all over Lithuania, they knit socks and gloves for soldiers.

I supply them all with yarn. I also stock up on yarn during the summer, whenever I can. Currently, it's mostly from recycled knitwear.
I ask everyone to ask around now who has unnecessary wool and half-wool threads for knitting. Yarn stocks tend to run out quickly. That's why I always have to replenish them.

Thank you for donating woolen yarn and knitting needles - we will need them no less this year.
Thanks for your help!
