Who we are

About us

Charity and support fund "Susivieniję gerumui" was founded in February 2023, when it was decided to officially give meaning to what we have been doing every day since the first day of the war in Ukraine - to support Ukrainian soldiers in their fight against an uninvited enemy.

One of the main and very important activities of the foundation is weaving camouflage nets for the Ukrainian front. The foundation's volunteers weave the nets in Kaunas, Mažeikiai and Gargždai. In the future, it is planned to weave the nets in more areas of Lithuania.

For weaving nets, waterproof fabrics in brown, green, and gray shades are constantly needed: lining, jacket, synthetic, etc. It can also be fabric remnants.

We also use a large amount of sports netting, which serves as the base on which the camouflage netting is woven. Financial resources are needed to purchase sports netting. We invite you to donate money and thus contribute to the preservation of the lives of Ukrainian soldiers and military equipment..

Information about all the support needed for Ukrainian soldiers and the fund's details can be found in other sections of this website.

Together to victory!

Needs

Fundraising

MEDICINE

  • Old (and not only) type of car and company first aid kits;
  • Medicines for soldiers – for colds, pain, poisoning, stress;
  • Bandage;

We all have medications in our homes that are about to expire or have recently expired (within six months of the expiration date).

Such medicines are also perfect.

Also, the medicines prescribed by the doctor are not always suitable and remain unused. You can hand them over to us, and we will pass them on to Ukrainian volunteers, who will pass them on to further recipients.

INVENTORY

  • Generators;
  • Backup power supplies (power bank);
  • Tires (R15-R20);
  • Handheld and head-mounted spotlights;
  • Batteries and accumulators;
  • Military equipment;
  • Tents.

 These items are suitable for both new and used items. It is important that they are clean and tidy.

CLOTHING FOR SOLDIERS

  • Military uniforms;
  • Thermal clothing;
  • Underwear;
  • Thin socks;
  • Helmets and other small clothing accessories.

 Military uniforms are suitable both new and used.

 Thin socks are needed constantly and in large quantities. So don't be afraid to sacrifice socks of a more modest quality. The colors don't matter either.

FEED

Dog and cat food, treats (dry and canned).

There are many homeless animals in the Ukrainian frontline and frontline areas, which are cared for by Ukrainian soldiers, who often take in dozens of cats and dogs. They all need to be fed and cared for. This is a heavy financial burden for soldiers. Therefore, we are trying to help them by providing food for animals.

We also donate food for animals to animal shelters on the Ukrainian frontline. Their volunteers often risk their lives rescuing animals from shelled and mined areas of Ukraine.

These shelters also need cages for dogs and boxes used for transporting cats.

MEASURES FOR THE CARE AND HYGIENE OF SOLDIERS

  • Medical diapers;
  • Wet wipes;
  • Personal hygiene products;
  • Laundry detergents;
  • Wheelchairs.

 Repellents against mosquitoes, ticks, and rodents are also constantly needed.

TEXTILE FOR SOLDIERS

  • Sleeping bags;
  • Warm blankets;
  • Towels;
  • Yoga mats.

 These items are suitable for both new and used items. It is important that they are clean and tidy.

FOOD

Long-lasting food products: canned goods, cereals, pasta, coffee, tea, chocolate, nuts, dried fruits, honey, condensed milk, etc. We all know how important food variety is. Therefore, we try to provide soldiers with high-quality and tasty food and drinks. Soldiers especially appreciate coffee (instant and non-instant).

Let's unite.

Let's help Ukraine fight and win
